Somewhere over the Rainbow
Heaven lies
There will be no drama or failure
But songs sweeter than lullabies
Somewhere over the Rainbow
My heart is there
One day I’ll be complete
When I meet Jesus in the air
Until then I’ll wish upon the stars
And maybe the bright moon too
That I make a difference while I’m here
And that I’ll successfully make it soon!
I hope God can look on me
And say “Well done my child!”
And I’d like to feel His warm embrace,
But I might have to wait for a while
Somewhere over the Rainbow
My soul will always be at rest
And I won’t know anything lest
Than complete happiness
Oh, some day, over the Rainbow…
